Dried Kolanuts
Nigeria is the world’s largest producer of kola nut. She is also the world’s largest consumer of Kolanuts. In the Eastern part of Nigeria, it is a traditional product with which people welcome their Guests. In the Northern part of Nigeria, it is consumed heavily as a stimulant, while in the Western part of Nigeria, it is grown as a cash crop. African Agronomics exports dried kola nuts to various countries where they are used for the extraction of substances used in pharmaceutical industries. Kolanut from Nigeria is certified free from Aflatoxin. A 20’FCL of dried kolanut contains about 14mts packed in polypropylene bags of 40kg each.
